Reggy's look was just bad, plain and simple. I just thought the dress+hair+makeup made her look older and uglier then she really is, because she is genuinely stunning. I really didn't love the patterns she chose and I thought the middle section of the dress was tubular, which didn't really give her a nice shape. Ivy's look was not that bad when she first came on the stage, but as she was walking I noticed that it began to sort of come apart. Still, it was poorly constructed and the added decorations just junk the look up. Nothing too incredible but I did appreciate the fact that it wasn't some basic gown or form-fitting dress or corset, but a more mod inspired outfit. On top of that, she didn't even have the decency to tuck? I am not a fan of this look, and the cape is just not enough to make this look anything but an ugly pair of panties and pasties. First of all, pasties and underwear will ONLY give you a high placement if you are a skinny white twink. I'm sorry but Vivaldi's look was REALLY overhyped this week. Vanessa's look was also amazing, and I particularly loved that there was a story that went along with it, although the colors weren't my favorite. I feel like most of the queens this week did a fantastic job of making unique looks that fit their aesthetic. Keta's look was honestly really good too. Her story is so valid and so beautiful and I am really hoping she can learn to love herself in this competition before it is too late. I am really loving Love Masisi this season, and am glad that we have someone who knows what it means to actually struggle and actually be illegal and feel unwanted because I have struggled with the same exact thing. The garment itself was elegant and really well constructed, and the look was sort of reminiscent of Cinderella. Love Masisi looked absolutely stunning as always, I cannot get over that fucking mug. The colors were SO ugly that they became campy and fun in my eyes. I am a real fan of The Countess's aesthetic and creative abilities, and I am hoping for her to do very well in the rest of the season. The green and earthy tones were refreshing from all of the gross colors and patterns that she other queens were using, and the textures on the corset were interesting and unique. She's a sweet queen but I don't think anyone, including myself, expected much from her this season. But Reggy's stunts were simple but effective, and give her an easy win. Also this performance pales in comparison to the other Physical lip-sync. I didn't love either of their performances, which is probably due to the shitty lip-sync editing on Drag Race Holland. Reggy's performance was definitely the cringiest of the night, and her runway was fine but not up to par. Her runway was actually great, but unfortunately there is not a big personality behind the glamor. It was very much a Milk performance, where the queen tries to do a fashion themed performance and instead just stands around like a fool. Juicy Couture's performance was simply bad. I'm not expecting much from her this season. Her runway was also atrocious, one of the worst of the night. I liked that she took a risk and tried something out-of-the-box, but this was just not good. Her runway was stunning, and I am excited to see more from her. I'm not a fan of burlesque shows where the queens literally just take off clothes and don't dance or move really, so I was naturally not a fan of Vivaldi's performance because that is quite literally all she did: take off beautiful clothes. Her runway, however, was absolutely stunning. I would've loved some peaks and valleys in the performance and the story, and I can't help but feel like physically she didn't do anything but walk around a little bit. Vanessa's performance was just a little too bland for me. I loved the runway, and thought it was very different from everyone else's look in a good way. Love Masisi was good in the performance but I think it took her a second to get warmed up. I really did not care for her runway however. Ivy was fine/good in the talent show, and I thought it was unique. She did have my favorite runway, however, and I absolutely loved the headpiece. I like magic acts when performed well but this was a bit too sloppy. Her runway was fine though, nothing too great. Drag Race Talent Shows are known for sidelining queens who bring non-conventional drag performances (like Elektra Shock's modern dance or Gia Gunn's Kabuki) and The Countess unfortunately is added to this list. I am a sucker for classical piano, but I also thought she was just damn good, and looked incredible as well. Her runway was really strong as well, and I loved the conflicting patterns. I thought the whole piece was spectacular. She did something unique, and she did it really well, mixing pole dancing with floor dancing. My Little Puny did fantastic in the challenge.
